Crackled Glass Walls; Stainless Steel, Gold & Glass Bathroom; Steel Table

We worked with interior designer Ronald Bricke as the custom metal and glass contractor on this light-filled apartment on the Upper West Side, providing major glass and metal elements in the living room and master bath, as well as a custom-designed dining room table. Using crackled glass with a satin stainless steel trim, we created a shimmering wall surface to separate the living room, picking up light from the floor-to-ceiling windows around the space, and repeated on columns and wall display cases throughout the apartment. In the bathroom, mirrored glass walls surround a cascading, gold grill fountain that extends down the wall to spout water into the custom-made, cantilevered stainless steel sink below. The fountain and integrated lights are motion activated, so the soothing water-feature begins when someone enters the bathroom. The dining room table, designed by Joseph Jaroff, is made out of solid, rustically patinated steel and yet is easily expandable, with a hidden mechanism bearing the metal’s weight easily lifting sections into place as desired.
